Every year one special skill area is chosen and highlighted for our Adult English Communication students in addition to their regular curriculum. 2023 was “grammar”; students worked on a series of grammar printouts called GRAM-O-GRAMS. 2024 was “writing fluency”; students had written conversations with their teacher through weekly journaling. This year’s focus is “output”. Students are focusing on increasing the amount and improving the accuracy of the English they use (spoken and written) in class, Cafe Rainbow, and at special events.

大人英語コミュニケーションクラスでは毎年一つのスキル分野が選ばれ、通常のカリキュラムに加えてそのスキルに力を入れます。2023年は「文法」。グラマグラムという独自の文法プリントに取り組みました。2024年は「ライティングの流ちょうさ」。毎週のジャーナリングを通し講師と書き言葉で対話しました。そして今年は「アウトプット」です。クラス、カフェレインボー、イベントで、使える（話す・書く）英語を増やすこと、またその正確さを伸ばすことに力を注いでいます。
